DIDSBURY - The Didsbury and District Chamber of Commerce honoured local businesses on Saturday at its annual awards presentation and gala at the Elks Hall.

DIDSBURY - At it's regular meeting on Oct. 8, Didsbury council heard a report from Frank Watson, the town's assessor, about the possibility of adding a muncipal property tax residential subclass, which would affect 44 unserviced properties.

DIDSBURY - A local meat cutter from Didsbury recently qualified for the chance to represent Canada at the World Butchers' Challenge in Sacramento, California next September.

CARSTAIRS/DIDSBURY - Students from both Hugh Sutherland School in Carstairs and Didsbury High School recently saw a presentation from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Canada regarding the risks of impaired driving.

DIDSBURY - At its regular meeting on Oct. 8, Didsbury council carried a motion to amend the land use bylaw.

DIDSBURY - Three men were recently charged with break and enter of a garage and theft following an incident outside Didsbury, said RCMP Staff Sgt. Chad Fournier.
