The Olds High School girls golf team finished in fourth at a provincial tournament held on September 23 and 24.

There are 64 athletes from Sundre High School (SHS) that are advancing on to cross-country zones in Canmore on Oct. 9.

Martial arts students from a Sundre-based club were recently in Saskatoon for a training seminar with 77-year-old Ji Han-Jea, former trainer of Bruce Lee.

The Olds College Broncos golf team finished in fifth place at the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference golf championships on September 28 and 29 at the Olds Central Highlands Golf Club.

The Olds Grizzlys earned three points in three Alberta Junior Hockey League games on the road last week, beating the Canmore Eagles 8-5 before losing 3-2 to the Lloydminster Bobcats in overtime and losing 4-1 to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.
