Olds hockey player Hannah Mousek returned from the 2011 Canada Winter Games with a noticeably heavier set of luggage after striking gold as part of the province's winning female hockey team.

Taryn Baumgardt helped Team Alberta to a gold medal finish at the Canada Winter Games Saturday. This is Team Alberta’s first gold medal at the Canada Winter Games since 1991 when they won with a team led by Hayley Wickenheiser.
