Olds RCMP say charges are pending against an Olds man in relation to an alleged sexual assault.
Cpl. Michael Black says the incident is alleged to have occurred July 14. RCMP were called regarding the matter at 1:15 p.m. that day.
Police will only say the incident is alleged to have occurred at a business in the 4900 block of 54th Avenue. On social media, the complainant says it occurred at Fas Gas.
"We responded to a call of a groping ñ sexual groping ñ at the business," Black says.
"One adult male from the Olds area has been arrested. Charges of sexual assault are pending; we're just waiting for it to come back," Black says, adding he can't release the name of the accused until the paperwork has been completed.
Black says there is no indication that any injuries occurred as a result of the matter.
He says only one suspect is alleged to have been involved.
