Grizzlys split pair of games on road

The Olds Grizzlys split a pair of games on the road last week, losing 4-2 to the Canmore Eagles on Nov. 26 and beating the Calgary Canucks 5-2 on Nov. 30 in Alberta Junior Hockey League play.

The Olds Grizzlys split a pair of games on the road last week, losing 4-2 to the Canmore Eagles on Nov. 26 and beating the Calgary Canucks 5-2 on Nov. 30 in Alberta Junior Hockey League play.

The two points give the Grizzlys 30 points so far on the season, leaving the team in seventh place in the south division. The Grizzlys are four points behind the fourth-place Canmore Eagles in the tightly contested division.

Landon Kletke and Spencer Dorowicz each had three points for the Grizzlys in the win against the Canucks, while BJ Duffin was in on both goals for the Grizzlys in the loss to the Eagles.

The Grizzlys next play Camrose in Olds on Dec. 4.
