About 120 people, including many youngsters, attended the annual Mountain View BearSmart Society (MVBS) Family Fun Day at Elkton Valley Campground.

DIDSBURY - The Didsbury Elks recently donated a comfort kit for pediatric patients to the Didsbury Hospital. Several Elks members were on hand at the hospital on May 22 for the donation.

Mountain View County council has approved a strategic plan for 2018-2021. The move came by way of motion at the recent regularly scheduled meeting. The plan was created with the assistance of Finley & Associates.

DIDSBURY - At the regular council meeting on May 22, council heard a presentation from Sam Smalldon, CAO of Mountain View Seniors' Housing (MVHS) about the organization's work, priorities and accountabilities.

CREMONA - At its regular council meeting on May 15, Cremona council passed a motion to approve the village's participation in the Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (ISDAB).

DIDSBURY - Councillors have held discussions on the proposed spray park project. The update came during the recent regularly scheduled council meeting.
