Though some may consider you posh for liking avocados, they're actually really good for you! Full of nutrients, avocados contain over 20 vitamins and minerals and are full of unsaturated fat. Plus, in my opinion, they aren't just a superfood, but are simply delicious. The best part about it is, you can do so many things with avocados!

Avocado Toast

There are so many different ways that you can make avocado toast. First of all, it's basically just guacamole on toast, which is simple enough, but you can customise it further by adding your favourite spices. You can even add things such as eggs, bacon, and fresh tomato. And though avocado toast is usually savoury, it doesn't have to be. Try some raw honey with it – you might be surprised at how the flavours meld to create something truly creamy and delightful.  As long as there is an avocado on toast, regardless of what you decide to put on it, it can still be called avocado toast. Try some wild combinations!

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil has multiple uses! When used in cooking, as opposed to other cooking oils, it has the highest smoke point and it can give your meal a cleaner and fresher taste. When used in skin care, Avocado oil can be used as an anti-ageing agent, as well as providing extensive moisture and other amazing benefits. Avocado oil can also be an amazing ingredient to use on your hair, as it promotes hair growth, provides moisture and gives your hair a nice shine.

Avocado Mayo

Different from regular mayo, avocado mayo offers a large amount of healthy fats, which is incredibly good for your brain. Avocado mayo can also be used as skin care, just like the oil. When left on for a period of time before being rinsed off, avocado mayo can soothe eczema and even help treat acne. Who knew that it can also treat sunburn?

To Summarise

If you ask me, avocados really are the best. Okay, so maybe avocados don’t taste amazing on their own, but when you combine them with toast or put them into mayo, they can be pretty tasty. And it's also really cool that avocados, avocado oils, and avocado mayo, can all be used for multiple things. So, what are you waiting for? Go buy some avocados and start reaping the benefits. This superfood is here to stay!
