The 2015-16 Sundre High School Academic Awards Night was held on Friday, Sept. 30, when more than 120 current and former students were honoured for their scholastic achievements from that school year.

Staff members and representatives from a variety of local organizations presented honour roll scrolls, subject awards, scholarships and special awards throughout the ceremony. More than $30,000 worth of scholarships, awards as well as bursaries were handed out.

Caden Surbey was recognized as the top Grade 12 scholar and was awarded the Governor General's Bronze Medallion. Kate Jackson and Keyanna St. Dennis were named senior high and Grade 9 students of the year respectively. Mrs. Tracy Wilson and the Sundre High School band provided musical entertainment.

A list of the students who were honoured follows below. We appreciate this opportunity to recognize these students as leaders and scholars. On behalf of all the students and staff at Sundre High School, I would like to congratulate the students on their achievements and thank the organizations and individuals that provided scholarships for our students.
