Sundre RCMP on lookout for stolen side-by-sides

Unidentified suspects reportedly took two trailers containing off-highway vehicles from a Sundre commercial property

SUNDRE — Police are asking the public for potential leads to help identify unknown suspects who last week reportedly stole two trailers containing off-highway vehicles.

According to the Sundre RCMP detachment, some time between the night of Wednesday, March 23 and the morning of Thursday, March 24, the culprits are said to have taken the two trailers, which are both described as being black, enclosed Canada Trailers utility trailers.

The two trailers were parked at a commercial property in Sundre's west commercial district, and police said in a press release dated Monday, March 28 that each contained a utility terrain vehicle.

The off-highway vehicles are described as a red, 2018 Honda 1000 SXS 1,000 cc four-wheel drive utility terrain vehicle and a red, 2014 Honda 700 SXS 700 cc four-wheel drive utility terrain vehicle.

Sundre RCMP are asking anyone in town who might have captured video surveillance footage between the hours of 5 p.m. on March 23 through to 7:30 a.m. on March 24 to contact the department and provide information on which direction the camera is pointed.

“If you review your video footage and see the suspect vehicles and trailers, please save the video and contact the Sundre detachment immediately,” said police.
