SEA OF PINK ó River Valley School students and staff got into the spirit of Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The anti-bullying initiative, which started almost 10 years ago in Nova Scotia after some students wore pink in support of a peer who had been teased for sporting a pink shirt, has become a nationwide annual event that is also gaining traction in other countries around the world.
