The Sundre and District Chamber of Commerce recently elected its executive, but there aren't many changes.

The chamber held its annual general meeting on April 25, when its members re-elected Mike Beukeboom as president and Tamara Beecraft as treasurer.

Vice-president Monica St.Dennis, who stepped in last year following a vacancy in that position, remains in the middle of her term.

More recently, however, Lois Warnock stepped in as interim secretary, and she comes with an extensive background on Airdrie's chamber of commerce.

"She has a pile of experience," Beukeboom told the Round Up. "We're excited to have her."

Sundre's chamber had previously decided to stagger its elections for president and treasurer as well as vice-president and secretary to ensure some continuity, he said.
