The event was held as one of several activities organized during Family Literacy Day, when the library was one of 29 libraries throughout the province to take part in the Read for 15 challenge. Sundre placed second with about 35 per cent of the population having reported spending 15 minutes reading. The overall average throughout Alberta was only 11.5 per cent. Donalda Municipal Library came in first with about 62 per cent. Calgary came in last with less than 0.5 per cent.,
