Two dozen participants raised more than $2,500 during this year’s community Terry Fox Run, beating last year’s total by about 25 per cent. The event was organized by Terry Leslie, who has spearheaded it since he started it during the early ’80s. Annalise Fricker, who is pictured here with husband Ron, has been in every Terry Fox run since she was born. “The dream that cancer can be beaten carries on with all these heroes among us who do their part to assist science, research and medical professionals find cancer cures,” Leslie said. Donations are accepted year round at terryfox.org.,
