Doug Paterson, left, won $2,500 sponsored by the Sundre Golf Club after scoring a hole-in-one on Saturday, Aug. 6 during the sixth annual Suncreek Classic. The event is hosted collaboratively between the Sundre Golf Club, where the tournament gets started, and the Coyote Creek Golf and RV Resort, where it all wraps up. The name of the event, Suncreek, is a combination of the two golf courses’ names, he said, adding there will definitely be a seventh annual competition next year. This year’s men’s and women’s champions were Royce Rock and Marg Bergsma.
