SUNDRE - Members of Peak Theatre Players have recently been busy learning their lines and rehearsing their upcoming production at the Sundre Arts Centre.

Members got into character on the evening of Thursday, April 28 during a stage and dress rehearsal of Mom’s Gift.

Described as a comedy with heart, the play tells the tale of a mother who died almost a year ago and suddenly shows up at her husband’s birthday as a ghost on a mission.

Not unlike Clarence, the main character in ‘It’s a Wonderful Life,’ she must accomplish a task to earn her wings. But the catch is just what she must do, is a mystery.

Six performances are spread throughout this coming weekend and the next, including a Mother’s Day matinée with curtains up at 2 p.m.

Evening shows start at 8 p.m. and tickets for all performances remained available as of Tuesday and are available either at the doors or online at www.peaktheatreplayers.com.
