An open house will be held at the Olds Campus Community Health Centre in the Ralph Klein Centre, Oct. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.
It will include interactive displays, tours of the Alberta Health Services (AHS) facility, and information about resources to help residents and their families stay healthy.
Visitor will have an opportunity to:
· Talk face to face with local AHS health-care providers about topics such as managing chronic disease, immunization and tobacco reduction.
· Learn about healthy eating, childhood development and the importance of oral health to overall health.
· Test their knowledge about safe food handling practices.
The open house is part of the Passion for Health initiative, which aims to give Albertans more opportunities – and more informal opportunities – to connect with AHS staff.
