BOWDEN - Paul Webb is running for a second term on Bowden town council.

He certainly has experience. Before gaining a seat on Bowden council four years ago, Webb served two terms on Sundre town council.

Webb has no specific projects or goals he wants to see achieved.

"I just want to see the progress continue to move forward that we have made," he says.

Webb is the fifth of seven current town councillors to declare they plan to run in the Oct. 16 municipal election. Robb Stuart and Earl Wilson are battling it out for mayor.

In addition to Webb, other councillors seeking re-election are Wayne Milaney and Sandy Gamble.

Lloyd Lane and Sheila Church are not running this time around.

"I think that we got some good work done and I'd like to see it continue," Webb says.

"I think I have some good experience to lend to the council. We are certainly going to have some new members on council and so I'm looking forward to working together with a new team," he adds.
