School buses running in the town do not use alternating flashing red lights when dropping off or picking up students. Therefore, it is imperative that:

Students remain in the safety zone (at least one metre from the curb of a road as they have been instructed by their bus driver).

Motorists proceed with extreme caution when driving near a school bus.

Students are NOT allowed to cross in front or behind the bus during pickup or drop-off, because the town does not use alternating flashing red lights to control traffic.
