OLDS — Reopening of the Community Learning Campus (CLC) Fitness Centre has gone well, according to CLC director Jackie Taylor.

The centre reopened June 25 after being shut down for nearly two months, due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

“The re-opening has gone exceptionally well and we are thrilled with the return of many grateful clients to the facility,” Taylor wrote in an email.

However, she noted other facilities within the CLC such as the gymnasiums and TransCanada Theatre, are not expected to reopen until fall.

In order to reopen the Fitness Centre, several new rules and protocols have been introduced to protect clients and staff.
