RCMP are asking for your help to solve break-ins to businesses in Olds and Carstairs that occurred very early Friday morning (April 15).

The first alarms were sounded at the Liquor Mart on 52 Avenue at about 3 a.m. and The Bowl (the bowling alley) a few minutes later.

Police say in both cases, someone smashed a window to gain entry.

“Numerous bottles of alcohol were stolen from the Liquor Mart and investigation is ongoing to determine what was taken from the bowling alley,” Olds RCMP say.

About 20 minutes later, RCMP responded to a commercial alarm at Specs Optometry in Carstairs. RCMP are still investigating to determine if that break-in is related to the other two.

RCMP are asking for your help to identify a male suspect driving a silver 2000s Jeep Cherokee in relation to those offences.

If you have any information on any one or all of these break-ins, please call Olds RCMP at 403-556-3324 or Central Alberta Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
