A power outage hit Olds and district, including the Didsbury area Saturday, starting at about 10 a.m.And it hit hard.Not only did the power go out in homes all over the area, but many businesses were unable to operate as well, due to lack of power.It even affected some people trying to fuel up their vehicles.“There's no business being conducted at all,” a resident said.The power finally began to come back on in at least portions of Olds shortly before 12 p.m.At the time this story was uploaded, it was not known how or why the power outage occurred.
