Olds College has vaulted into the Pokémon Go phenomenon by setting up 17 Pokéstops and three Pokémon gyms throughout the campus. On Aug. 4, OC staff ran an introductory Pokémon Go tour of the wetlands. About half a dozen people participated. Here, Shannon Campbell of Calgary gives it a try. On Sept. 15, the college plans to hold basic lessons on the game at a location not determined at press time. At 5 p.m. that day, a Pokémon Go meet and greet will be held at the wetlands botanical gardens for students, staff and the public.
