Alberta's minister of international and intergovernmental affairs will speak to business people in Olds about market access on Sept. 17.
Cal Dallas will be speaking at the Ramada Inn from 7 to 9 p.m. He will be speaking about diversification of businesses, various trade promotion and technical organizations in the province and building stronger links between the government and business people wishing to pursue international markets. The Olds and District Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event.
“(Attendees) will learn about key markets, opportunities that exist, trade development services that the government offers. They'll get advice on who to contact and they can learn about the international strategy that we announced as a government in the spring,” said Derek Cummings, the minister's press secretary.
