Hospital long service awards handed out

Thirty-six employees have been recognized for their significant contributions and dedication to quality patient care at the Olds Hospital and Care Centre.

Thirty-six employees have been recognized for their significant contributions and dedication to quality patient care at the Olds Hospital and Care Centre.

Long service awards were presented to staff with 10 years of service or more during the annual staff appreciation celebration.

Nine of the recipients, including retiree Connie Jorsvick, share more than 290 years of combined service.

Dianne Piller was recognized for 40 years of service in Laboratory/Diagnostic Imaging.

Ingrid Bannerman received an award for 35 years of service in Long Term Care.

Thirty-year service awards were presented to Denise Zrymiak (Long Term Care), Lorna Spellman (Pharmacy), Deb Dirk (Rehabilitation), Cheryl Teuling (Nutrition and Food Services), Cindy Coates (Nutrition and Food Services) and Susan Andrew (Acute Care).

Nancy Hanson and Dianne Powney were applauded for their 25 years of service.

Employees with 20 years of service included Linda Kendze, Allan Hoeve, Jennifer Kingsfield, Heather Stauffer, Staryla Braun, Jackie Olson, Janelle Weigum and Diane Grzela.

Susan Stade, Amanda Bradshaw, Joyce Whitford, Rachelle Brooks, Donna Macmillan, Amanda Rae Thompson, Rhae Coulombe, Carolyn Leach, Wendy Wiebe, Trudy Clark, Kathy Austin, Norma Fate, Debra Lawson, Lori Pedersen, Tina Richards, Susan Seber and Dr. van der Vyver were all recognized for 10 years of service.
