Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that caused an estimated $40,000 damage to an Olds home on Sunday, May 8.
Olds firefighters were called to a home in the 4700 block of 48 Street at 11:22 p.m.
“Upon arrival, fire crews encountered a fully involved deck, with extension onto the front porch and the roof of the residence,” an Olds Fire Department news release says.
“Olds Fire Department quickly had the fire knocked down and under control.”
