The Moore family has found a place to stay in Olds.
Tosha Moore, her spouse Shane and three kids are evacuees from Fort McMurray. She says they've received about four other offers for accommodation beyond the one they ended up accepting.
"The welcome that we've had in Olds has been amazing. It's been wonderful to share that with people in the same situation. The people have been outstanding," she says.
The family is getting the first month of rent free.
Moore will be staying in Olds for at least two years, as she's enrolling at the college, taking a double major in reclamation and environmental stewardship.
