A Bowden man is $1.5 million richer after winning one of the 2016 STARS lottery prizes.
Phillip Gow was the Lucky STARS 50/50 draw winner.
He has been supporting the air ambulance service for more than 25 years, according to a STARS news release.
“STARS saves so many lives and I've always felt it was a worthy cause to support,” read his statement.
This was the 23rd annual STARS lottery, raising more than $11.5 million.
