MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY -The county received 450 permit applications in 2021, up from 312 in 2020, officials said.

“The trends that we see from 2021 compared to the previous year is that all applications are up,” Margaretha Bloem, director of planning and development services, said during the Feb. 9 council meeting. “Whether they were redesignations and subdivision, whether they were development permits, or whether they were under our safety codes."

There were 119 compliance certificates, 114 discretionary development permits, 111 permitted development permits, eight exempt development permits, five event permits, five redesignation permits, three subdivision permits, and 55 RDSD permits issued.
