Olds College will host the 2014 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference women’s basketball championships from Feb. 28 to March 2.
Eight of the province’s top teams will attend the championships, with the top six conference teams eligible for a spot in the championship round after the regular season concludes on Feb. 15.
The following weekend, the seventh-place team in the regular season will play the 10th ranked team and the eighth place team will play the ninth ranked team to determine the final two spots in the championship tournament.
The Broncos will begin their defence of the ACAC title on Oct. 18 against the St. Mary’s University College Lightning at the Ralph Klein Centre at 6 p.m.
