Hamper program binds community together

On behalf of all those who have received hampers in the past, I would like to recognize all those who have helped or sponsored the Didsbury Christmas Helper Program.

On behalf of all those who have received hampers in the past, I would like to recognize all those who have helped or sponsored the Didsbury Christmas Helper Program.

It has truly been an honour to be part of such a community that bands together to help our neighbours within the Didsbury area.

If you are in need of a hamper or know of someone who does, please contact Zion Church - Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 403-335-3629.

The angel trees are located at the Didsbury post office, library, Home Hardware and Ulla-La Boutique. Choose an angel, buy an age-appropriate gift, drop the gift off to the friendly staff at the post office on or before Dec. 13.

We are also urgently in need of donations of cash to purchase gift cards for fresh produce and meat for the hampers. Cash or cheques can be dropped of at Zion Church. Tax receipts will be issued for your donation.

Finally our annual gift wrapping event takes place Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at Zion Church. This event is open to all and truly a great way to celebrate Christmas.

Please help us in any way you can. This project belongs to all of us.
