DIDSBURY - The seventh annual Mountain View Arts Festival was another big success as hundreds of locals and visitors alike enjoyed a myriad of arts and culture events on the weekend.

The festival featured dozens of great events including chalk art, a quilt show, sports poet Frank Pavlick, scarecrows, an instrument petting zoo, musical performers and artists throughout town, and even a "flash mob" by Spotlight Dance Studio.

There were several new features this year including a bench fair, which featured various artistic creations at the library, a discussion with authors of the Canadian Historical Brides novel series, and a Saturday concert with Juno winner John Wort Hannam as well as Joal Kamps and Ruth Purves-Smith.
