INNISFAIL — A teenager who had just a few days ago been reported missing was found safe, police say.

Mounties had recently asked for the public’s help to find a missing local teenager who on Sunday, June 12 during the early morning hours was reportedly last seen in town.

The Innisfail RCMP had subsequently issued a press release later that same afternoon advising the public that 16-year-old Leah Pahlke had last been seen in Innisfail during the early morning hours.

Pahlke was at the time described in the police missing person’s advisory as being 164.6-centimetres (5-foot, 4-inches) tall and weighing 72.6 kilograms (160 pounds) with shoulder-length dark hair and wearing black clothing.

Anyone who had information about Pahlke’s whereabouts was asked to contact either the Innisfail RCMP detachment at 403-227-3341 or their local police. People who preferred to remain anonymous were alternatively encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), as well as submit information online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
