INNISFAIL - Three adults were taken to hospital this morning with minor injuries suffered during a garage fire.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. on May 30, Innisfail RCMP and Innisfail Fire Department responded to a structure fire located on 56th Street in Innisfail.
According to RCMP, the structure fire included a garage as well as five vehicles nearby. It was contained by the fire department within an hour, an RCMP press release issued today said.
"Three adults suffered minor injuries during the fire and were taken to hospital via EMS. The adults were believed to be in the garage at the time of the incident," the press release said.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner has been contacted by the Innisfail Fire Department to investigate the cause of the fire. Arson is not suspected at this time, said police.
