INNISFAIL – A northbound tanker truck travelling on Highway 2 that crashed Wednesday morning on Antler Hill is not expected to cause any serious traffic problems.

“It's a tanker truck but it's not going to be anything serious,” said RCMP Cpl. Troy Savinkoff.

He added the tanker truck crashed and rolled over on its side on Antler Hill shortly after 9 a.m. this morning.

“It had been northbound and then went into the centre meridian,” said Savinkoff, adding his reports did not say if there was any injuries.

He said RCMP is advising that one southbound and one northbound lane are affected by the crash.

He said traffic flow is being reduced in the area while emergency crews respond.
