RCMP Highway 2 integrated traffic services are looking for information about suspicious vehicles or persons travelling near Didsbury on Friday after a male driver exposed himself to a female victim in another vehicle.

At approximately 1:55 p.m. a female reported a male driving a newer model black crew cab pick-up truck who had pulled up alongside her, made eye contact and exposed himself to the victim. He was described as a white male approximately 50-60-year-old, and was wearing a hat and glasses at the time of the incident.

“We have had several related files in the last few months which is why this incident is a concern,” said Const. Chris Warren, from integrated traffic services Innisfail.

Warren said that if caught the suspect would possibly charged with an indecent act and some traffic safety violations.

Although RCMP could not say if they think it is the same suspect they did say that there has been very similar motives in all of the occurrences.

After the incident the male driver slowed and made an abrupt u-turn through the centre median turn-around and continued northbound on Highway 2.

The public is being encouraged to contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers if they have any information about this or other suspicious incidences occurring on Friday, Feb. 11.
