Plea reserved in drug case

A man charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking is scheduled to enter his plea when he appears in Red Deer provincial court on June 12.

Scott Stephen Fitzgerald, 32, has previously reserved his plea during earlier court appearances, last appearing on May 25. Fitzgerald is accused of throwing drugs in a bag over the fence into the yard of the Bowden Institution on February 19.

Fitzgerald remains in custody.

Alleged dangerous driver adjourned plea

The man accused of dangerous driving, flight from police, impaired care and control of a motor vehicle, theft and other charges is scheduled to enter his plea on June 6.

Kenneth Peter Robert Nepoose, 20, is accused in an April 8 incident where he is alleged to have avoided sheriffs who tried to pull him over only to be arrested by RCMP later when his truck got stuck.

Nepoose has appeared a few times in Red Deer provincial court, most recently on May 25. Nepoose remains in custody.
