Following the traditional parade of the haggis, which was piped in by Dale McIntyre, the famous dish was addressed — or ceremonially sliced with a sword — by Todd MacDonald.

Following the supper was a dance featuring a live musical performance by The Country Travellers. About 100 people attended the event, which was the first time it was held in many years.
