INNISFAIL -- Inspired by the comedic touch of Canadian playwright Norm Foster, Innisfail Town Theatre (ITT) is ready to present its new theatre production The Ladies Foursome - a fast-paced, heartwarming story of friendship.

The Ladies Foursome marks the 80th production of ITT, the town's non-profit, volunteer-operated, community theatre group that is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019.

The play, being staged at the Ol' Moose Hall runs for 10 shows between April 4 and 20, features four talented local actresses: Janis Bell, Leah Adams, Mary Stenhouse and Christine Chalaturnyk. The Ladies Foursome is being co-directed by Mark Kemball and Jim Stenhouse.

The story centres around four women who get together for a round of golf the day after their friend’s funeral. While this may for some sound like a sombre occasion, this play is anything but.

The Ladies Foursome is described as a smart, sassy and downright funny play written by one of Canada’s favourite playwrights. Contrary to its name and the golf course setting, The Ladies Foursome has very little to do with golf and everything to do with life, love and friendship, all shared in a way that only the girls could.

The 10 performances at the Ol' Moose Hall will include one general performance on April 4, a brunch performance on April 14, and eight dinner theatre performances that will be held April 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20.

Tickets are available at The Leg Man (5036 – 50th Street) or by phoning 403-227-5966.
