Children, parents and adults had an opportunity last week to learn how to create colourfully decorated pysanky eggs.

The Sundre Municipal Library hosted two craft sessions on Wednesday, March 28, and participants learned how to apply a careful touch to their traditional Ukrainian pysanky eggs using a special tool called a kitska to apply wax, which helps to create a variety of designs as new layers of dye are added.
