Mountain View Colts remain undefeated with two more wins

DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts have continued their winning ways and remain undefeated following games Friday and Saturday.

The Heritage Junior B Hockey League team defeated the Three Hills Thrashers 6-4 at the Didsbury Memorial Complex on Oct. 7.

The Colts got goals from Steven Bell (assist Ryan Bauer), Jay Heistad, Paton Rothenbusch (assists by Hayen Sotheran and Corson Waiting), Jay Heistad (assists Nate McNeely and Haiden Parks), Bell (assists Rothenbusch) and McNeely (Simon Leischner and Noah Goodwin).

Colts netminder Shayne Price stopped 31 shots for the win.

On Saturday, Oct. 8, the Colts travelled to Coaldale to take on the Copperheads, and coming away with a 7-3 win.

The Colts got goals from Waiting (assist Bell), McNeely (assists Jordan Saunders and Goodwin), McNeely, Logan Richards (McNeely and Carter Hewitt), Trey Stovin (assists Bauer and Parks), Stovin (Rothenbusch and Bell) and Stovin (assist Rothenbusch).

Netminder Chance Griffith got the win, stopping 19 shots.

The Colts play the Sylvan Lake Wranglers at the Memorial Complex on Friday, followed by a trip to Sylvan on Saturday.
