Mountain View Colts remain in second after loss to Three Hills

Didsbury-based team has two games at home this weekend -- against the Cochrane Generals tonight and against the High River Flyers on Saturday

DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts’ 2022-23 record stands at eight wins and four losses following a 7-4 loss to the Three Hills Thrashers on Nov. 4.

The team remains in second place in the Heritage Junior B Hockey Leagues’ northern division, two points behind Sylvan Lake.

The Colts travelled to Three Hills on Friday to take on the sixth place Thrashers.

The Colts got goals Logan Richards (assists from Corson Waiting and Carter Layden), Treydon Brien (assist Carter Hewitt), another one from Brien (assists Hewitt and Corbin Rae), and Haiden Parks (assist Jordan Saunders).

Colts netminder Chance Griffith played the first two periods and netminder Shayne Price played the third.

The Colts were scheduled to play the Wheatland Kings in Strathmore on Saturday, but that game was postponed due to weather/road conditions.

The Colts have two games at home this weekend, against the Cochrane Generals on Friday and against the High River Flyers on Saturday. Both those games start at 8:30 p.m.
