DIDSBURY - The Didsbury Municipal Library's TD Summer Reading Club wrapped up for the season yesterday.

The final week's theme was carnival games.

Starting July 5, kids ages five to 12 could take part in the weekday daily outdoor activities coordinated by the library with weekly themes. The last day was Aug. 20.

Members gathered at the Rosebud Campground on July 30 for games and music fun. In all, 13 kids and five parents took part, with Summer Reading Program assistant Camille Labrecque playing her violin and giving the kids a chance to try the instrument.

The club's Detective Week took place Aug. 9-13, with kids learning about dusting for fingerprints, learning secret codes, playing group games, and solving mysteries, said coordinator Brittany van Vlaanderen.
