Drumheller downs Tigers in Carstairs

CARSTAIRS - The MVFB Tigers took on the Drumheller Titans at the Carstairs arena field Saturday, Sept. 30..

Although it wasn’t close on the scoreboard (65-0 for Drumheller), the game was well attended and hard played.

The Bantam Tigers are part of the Mountain View Football Association (MVFB) that was created last season.

The Tigers play in the Central Alberta Football League.

There is also the high school senior football team, the MVFB Kodiaks. 

Both teams consist of players from Carstairs, Didsbury, Crossfield and Cremona. 

The Tigers next play at home on Oct. 15 at the Carstairs arena field, starting at 1 p.m. against Strathmore. 

The Kodiaks next home game is Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. at the Didsbury High School field against Highwood.
