Their primary focus is on individuals who are receiving or have received treatment from the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. With the aim of allowing patients to focus on their recovery, Wings of Hope offers three different programs to assist with various financial needs. In addition to their assistance programs, Wings of Hope also runs the Gift of Hope program, which aims to bring joy and relief during the holiday season. Baskets filled with gift cards, personal items, and donated gifts are provided to help alleviate some of the stress that patients may experience during treatment.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Network (CBCN) is a patient-directed national breast cancer health charity. Their mission is to advocate for breast cancer patients by voicing their concerns, providing education, and promoting information sharing. CBCN offers a wide range of resources. They provide information on breast cancer basics, treatment and side effects, prosthetics, and reconstruction, as well as living with both early-stage and metastatic breast cancer. Through educational events, digital magazines, and more, they strive to empower individuals with knowledge.

Relying on organizations and foundations for support with breast cancer can make a significant difference in the lives of individuals facing this challenging journey. These organizations offer crucial resources, accommodations, advocacy, education, and emotional support to those affected by the disease. By leveraging their expertise, programs, and initiatives, individuals can access the necessary tools and guidance to navigate their diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. The dedication of these organizations, combined with the generosity of donors and the commitment of volunteers, creates a supportive network that empowers individuals with knowledge, compassion, and hope.
