From apparel and footwear to farm animal wellness supplies, tack and saddles to Western lifestyle home décor/gifts, Irvine’s has it all. Showing livestock? Irvine’s has what you need. Enjoy English horse riding? Yes, Irvine’s got you covered. Shop in store or online; you won’t be disappointed.

It all started in 2004 when Scott and Leanne Irvine decided to open a small country Western store.

“At first it was just a hobby so I did not have to go back to work in the city, but it grew to the demand of the customers,” she says. “I believe having a large selection and unique sales space are key factors in our success. You never know what you’ll find around the next corner at Irvine’s. We stock something for everyone. Whether you are from the city or country you will find something. We are lucky to be rural and have been even luckier to expand over the past 19 years to the size we are!”

Irvine’s strives to stock not only the necessities for farm life, but also fun, new, and interesting products that keep customers coming back. The large client base confirms that this strategy is working.

For example, if you need a collar for your dog, why not get stylish with the Weaver painted Aztec collar? The beautiful motif and leatherwork are more than on par with what you’d get in specialty stores, but you can get this item at Irvine’s. Home cooks have a great selection of functional and décor items to choose among, including YETI mugs and beautifully decorated platters. Sometimes it’s those little things that make all the difference, like the hearty buckets Irvine’s sells that are strong enough to hold feed but lightweight enough for easy carrying and easy storage. Let’s not overlook strong and safe portable steps, total saddle covers, travel fence panels, and ropes – both for adults and their young children ranch hands.

When not ensuring the rural locals have everything they need and more from the Western store, you’ll find the Irvine’s being very active in the community.

Leanne says, “We donate annually to different non profit organizations, some of which are close to our hearts such as the Alberta’s Children’s Hospital and the Centre for Suicide Prevention. We also like to sponsor local events in the community such as rodeos and 4H clubs.”

She concludes with a smile, “We love all of our clients near and far. We meet people from all over the world that stop in at Irvine’s. And we would also like to thank our staff; we have an amazing team here at Irvine’s and would not be successful without them.”

Irvine’s is still celebrating last year’s Mountain View County Reader’s Choice award (top in the menswear division) and looks forward to continuing to serve the needs of the community and their local and tourist customers.
