SUNDRE – Four members of the Sundre Fire Department were recently recognized for their commitment to service.

Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre riding MLA Jason Nixon attended a portion of the Nov. 14 regular council meeting to present the awards.

Firefighter Darryl Murphy received a 12 year Emergency Services Medal and 22 Year Emergency Services Bar; Lt. Dean Hass was presented with a 12 Year Emergency Services Medal; deputy Chief Alex Clews earned his 12 Year Emergency Services Medal; while Chief Ross Clews received a 22 Year Emergency Services Bar.
