Sundre curler qualifies for 2024 Brier

SUNDRE - Sundre's Dylan Webster is off to the 2024 Montana’s Brier after his team qualified for the 18-team national men’s curling championships over the weekend.

Webster is the lead on the Aaron Sluchinski team, which also includes third Jeremy Harty and second Kerr Drummond.

The team defeated the Kevin Koe rink 6-3 in the provincial finals in Hinton on the weekend.

The Sluchinski team plays out of the Airdrie Curling Club.

The Brier goes March 1-10 at the Brandt Centre in Regina.

The 2024 Brier will feature three teams from Alberta - the Sluchinski team, the Brendan Bottcher team, and the Kevin Koe team. 

The winning team at the Brier will represent Canada at the 2024 World Men’s Curling Championship in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
