SUNDRE — Organizers and participants of the annual Sundre Slingfest would have been hard-pressed to hope for better weather conditions.

Although some rainfall came later over the past weekend, conditions were near perfect on Saturday, July 23 during the group's poker rally, which toured the riders through town and the immediate surrounding area.

And while a few participants who pre-registered were unable to attend due to illness, there were nevertheless about 20 riders who came out for the event, which also included a scavenger hunt to local businesses.
