STUDENT SCIENTISTS ó River Valley School Grade 4 student Colin Newsham presents his project entitled Simple Circuits to judge William Knelson during the school’s science fair on Thursday, Feb. 4. The first- and second-place winners in each grade have been invited to go to the Mountain View Science and Technology Society Science Fair at Olds High School on Saturday, Feb. 27. The winners of that fair, who have to be at least in Grade 5, then go on to the Central Alberta Regional Science Fair held in Red Deer this March. Lastly, winners from that fair, who have to be at least in Grade 7, go on to the Canada-Wide Science Fair, which this year is being held in Montreal in May.,
