Officials said Sundre firefighters, EMS and RCMP responded at approximately 1:40 p.m. to a report of a 67-year-old male from the Sundre area who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his upper body on a rural farm property 12 kilometres south of Sundre. The male received immediate medical attention at the scene. Shortly after 3 p.m., the patient was loaded into the air ambulance and taken to a Calgary hospital in stable condition, but with serious, potentially life threatening injuries.,
